Who are we?

Macropod Communication is Robert Ashdown and Rob Mancini.

We have a life-long interest in, and passion for, natural and cultural history, having worked on a range of projects with researchers, rangers, Traditional Owners and community organisations. We can get our heads around any subject, and work with anyone, to get a project completed.

Robert Ashdown has extensive experience in education and communications, having worked with the Queensland Museum and the Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service. He draws on a wide range of skills gained in developing and managing complex projects, including concept development, targeted messaging and interpretive writing. He is an accomplished photographer, with images enhancing interpretive signage across Queensland.

Rob Mancini has for many years worked almost exclusively in the environmental and conservation communications sector for parks and conservation organisations, groups and local councils in Australia and internationally. His impressive and versatile design and illustration skills enable him to create highly impactful and visually dynamic messaging.

We understand communication and have the skills and experience to create communication products that are accurate, engaging and effective.
